Concept/2d Artist (Environmental and products)


Responsibilities
·         Production of environmental, vehicular and product concept art for games
·         Working with guidance from the art director and creative director to visualise high quality digital imagery.
·         Texturing and 2d asset creation during game production.

Experience
·         Prior games experience is not essential for this role, must work digitally.  Portfolio should depict realistic cars, products and environments.
·         Strong Adobe Photoshop skills
·         High level of drawing ability
·         Able to work digitally

Desirable but not essential
·         Previous experience developing racing/sports/casual games
·         Experience in GUI/front end or logo design
·         Experience with 3d software

· Production of low and high poly 3D character assets for games, mainly, but not specifically humanoid bipedal.
· Rigging characters for use with a projects animation system
· Working under direction from the lead character artist

Experience
· One or more shipped game titles
· Texturing with Photoshop
· Z-brush expertise
· Good knowledge of anatomy

My client is working on a PS3 title.
They require your game experience to bolster up their team.
Layout and Graphic Design skills are a large bonus.
You are proficient in 3ds max (ideally)

Samples must show references to ‘current/ contemporary/ youth culture’ style.
 Location London

Most of these locations are based in the south of the UK
I am mainly looking for jobs closer to me so that travel expenses will b eat a minimal.
Most of the jobs i am looking to achieve need experience  but there are companies that look for inexperienced workers to train them up.
I will need to improve my skills on certain software’s
e.g 3ds max Photoshop ect
