http://daltonmuniz.carbonmade.com/

I chose these portfolios because they are the art that I am interested in and i like the way that the artist present their work in categories. I really enjoyed the art from  http://daltonmuniz.carbonmade.com/ his art showed that he is quite versatile and has many styles of his art. His work ranges from low poly to complex 3D models in different styles such as cel shade to graphics illustrations.

The reason I chose this artist because he has modelled things that are of the same interests as mine. And the artist clearly is passionate about 3D modelling. Artist like these get stuck in there comfort zone and dont really want to adapt to other styles.

Experience

McDonalds  Oct 2011 – Nov 2011
My reason for Leaving after only working a short period of time is because a new manager came in and cleaned house in order to bring in members of his old team. That was his right but it cleared my head to envision better opportunities elsewhere. My responsibilities of the job were cooking the food for the customers which I gained a Food Safety Certificate.

Plymstock Inn 2009 – 2011
I used to work in the Plymstock Inn which has now been taken over by new management so I was helping them to re-new the building by cleaning and re painting and during my evenings I was a glass collector as well as working in the kitchen.  Later when reaching the age of 18 I was trained to work behind the bar.

Leadership Course  2007 – 2008
I voluntarily took up this short course as an extra qualification but also to help other schools with sport activities. I helped out at the Sports Festival which was held at Coombe Dean Secondary School. This involved planning activities also with an emphasis on health and safety of the children. They came from primary schools covering all areas of Plymouth. I also volunteered to help at sports days and charity events raising money for new school equipments.  I worked in my summer holidays helping out at a children’s day centre. I would get involved with the sports activities. This was voluntary unpaid work. (I can get references for this if required).

Work Experience   July 2007
Princess Yachts at CoyPool for 1 week.

Voluntary Work  August 2007
Frosties  Play scheme

Education
Coombe Dean School  2002 – 2010
I have just finished my last year in sixth form studying A Levels at Coombe Deans
Subjects: Business Studies.
I am currently at Plymouth College of Art (PCA) studying a two year Foundation Diploma in Interactive Media and Game Arts. I am in my second year and as well as studying my course I will also be gaining Functional Skills in English and Maths.

Interests
I like karate and I fought for the South West and came 2nd in the U.K. I also played
basketball for Coombe Dean for 2 years. My current interest is Motorcycling which I have a full bike license. I also enjoy creating my own digital art which then led to one of my posters appearing in Revolution Art magazine. I have also taken part in the making of the national marine aquarium animation on the official website.

action plan

My main aim is to break in to the games industry and become a 3d modeller and then later on in life move into the movie industry CGI animator/3D modeller.

Concept/2d Artist (Environmental and products)

To achieve this i might have to do some freelance work to get some experience behind me. And also develop my skills in my spare time. Find different ways to get spotted e.g. Youtube.

Experienced Character Artist

For this job i will have to use all my contacts in the industry to get an interview and then work my way from the bottom to the top. For this job i shouldn’t have to go to higher education. I will also have to develop my 3D modelling skills to get noticed.

For this job i might have to work for a smaller company first to gain experience and build up my CV. Also in my spare time i will have to learn more skills on 3d modelling software’s such as creating background and things like that.
